The March 2020 General Meeting is Canceled,

Due to the presence of COVID-19 in our greater Sacramento Area communities, the March 2020 General Meeting is canceled in an abundance of caution. We are working to reschedule Karen Cahill for a General Meeting in 2021. 

Award-winning artist Karen Cahill will be demonstrating techniques for creating her stunning oil portraits.

Karen uses oils as her medium of choice and prefers a rigid yet smooth substrate. Her techniques include glazing and heavy impasto. Her philosophy is to get the painting to the point of realism yet retain a “painterly effect.”
