Please join us in person at the NCA General Meeting Wednesday, October 9th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. NCA members please bring in an appetizer to share with the group! And don’t forget to bring a piece of art to enter the Artist of Month contest.
Our new Raffle Chair, Vanessa Bondon, is collecting new or gently used art supplies for our monthly meeting raffle. Feel free to bring to the meeting or coordinate drop off.
When we break during the meet feel free to enjoy the AMAZING Bold EX Show in the main foyer.
For our October meeting we have a presentation by Tom Matousek, the judge of the Bold Expressions Show. Tom will share with members the process of selecting works for the show and identifying award winners.

Tom Matousek is a San Francisco based, award winning artist, who began his artistic journey by studying cartoons as a child and in a short time, could draw almost anything from memory. “I have lots of memories of staying up late with my brother and friends, watching Creature Features and drawing anything we could get our hands on—the sports page, baseball and football cards, beverage cans and cartoon characters. I would stay in my room for hours creating my own cartoons. From the time I was a kid it was my dream to be a Disney artist.”
